Selby Family Clinic - Fees



Individual doctors set their own schedule of fees, and the fees vary. A schedule of fees for individual doctors is available from reception. Eftpos and credit card facilities are available for your convenience. You are welcome to ask our reception staff about the fee structure of individual doctors when making your appointment.

Please note

A $10 surcharge applies if the account is not paid in full on the day. If you have queries regarding our fees or any difficulty paying your account, please discuss this with the doctor at the time of consultation - reductions are made at their discretion.

Fees & Billing Policy

Children under 16 years:
Most doctors bulk-bill children under 16 years of age for Level B Consultations. Dr Allen will charge normal fees if your child has a more complex health issue

Non Concession:
Payment in FULL is expected on the day of consultation. In cases of financial hardship, we will accept gap only payments.

Concession card holders:
Most doctors bulk-bill Health Care Card Holders & Pensioners at their discretion, depending on the complexity of the problem. If your doctor does not bulk-bill your consultation, please pay the GAP on the day.


Overdue Accounts

If your account is overdue for more than 60 days, please advise us of the delay, otherwise you will be asked to pay in full for future consultations.

As we are now linked to HIC On-Line, Medicare cheques are usually issued within 21 days of consultation. If you haven't received your cheque within this time, it is your responsibility to contact Medicare.
