COVID VACCINATIONS
From after Easter we expect to get a very limited supply of covid vaccines so we will be initially contacting  people over 85 and then go onto contact many other  people who fit the 1 b government criteria .
We  had planned to vaccinate 750 people over 7 days a week in a large venue, but now have been allocated 50 vaccines a week across the 3 clinics from after Easter. Like all GPs we are doing what we can to get vaccines out to our patients who want them. Please do not call our receptionist for now about the covid vaccine as we will call you  A.S.A.P. when/if?? our stock increases etc. We believe  CSL will be producing a a million vaccines a week in the next month so hope we will get a lot more stock soon.

Thank you to our wonderful community for all your efforts so far with helping to stop the spread of Covid-19.  As restrictions come and go into 2021, it can be tempting to get complacent, but let us remain vigilant and continue to do our part to keep our community safe.  This includes social distancing as much as possible, keeping our fact masks on, as well as getting tested and isolating if you have any Covid-19 symptoms.  At Selby Family Clinic, we will also continue doing everything we can to keep you safe and do our best to support our community during this difficult time.

We offer Covid-19 testing for our  patients in your car by one of our Doctors who can assess you.  If a further, physical check is needed the Doctor can see you in a separate, isolation area of the clinic.

Important Notice to all our patients!

LET'S KEEP UP COVID-19 TESTING !
Since the peak of the pandemic where our doctors were seeing and testing about 50 patients a day between Selby , Kallista and Monbulk, we are  now testing less but please see us if you have any flu like symptoms or are uncertain.
Our community has done so well, lets all do our part to not go back to where we were and ensure any virus spread gets picked up early.   This will help ourselves and others.

We are still open for business but it is not quite business as usual.

We are open but our waiting room is restricted access. Book on "Hotdoc" (the green button above) or phone us for an appointment with your doctor by telehealth or in person.
For patients who  seen at the Clinic, please call us upon arrival, answer our screening questions and wait in your car.   You must wear a mask to be allowed to enter the clinic.
Your Doctor will call you on your mobile phone to keep
face to face time to a minimum and reduce spread from someone who may have no symptoms of infection.  You will then be directed inside where you will need a temperature check and to sanitise your hands.
When you arrive If you have no mobile phone, please knock on the door  and a staff member  will come to you as you may not enter the clinic until checked.

Telehealth consults will incur a private fee equivalent to a face to face consultation unless you are eligible to be bulk billed in line with our Billing Policy or after discussion with your Doctor.

All of our patients with a fever, cough, runny nose, or flu like symptoms will be seen and offered a COVID-19 test in a separate isolation area by the doctor rostered for that day.  Please do not enter the clinic but telephone reception upon arrival for further instructions.

Please phone the clinic on 9754 3999 or you can book a Telehealth consultation online.
Please do not attend the clinic unless by prior arrangement.
Thank you for your support.
